- Princess GWhat a delight to have discovered this little gem! An unassuming place on busy Darling street yet all the baked goods are delectable & will transport you to France. The pastries are outstanding with buttery, flakey layers whether you choose the plain, chocolate, raisin or almond croissants. The latter had a delicious crunchy topping & gooey praline interior. The coffees are also good & the tarts are again outstanding. It's a true artisan baker at work here & its reflected in the most perfect tart shells & classic, mouth watering fillings. Have to come back to try their bread & danishes. A must visit for all the delicious bakery goodies!
- Zdenka SIts a nice cosy bakery/cafe and they pride themselves on bringing a real French touch to their freshly baked goods. Their sourdough bread is super soft inside but crusty on outside. I could eat the loaf on one seating. Recently we had their open bread-tartine and also French Madame Croque. Just delicious. We are big fans of their almond croissant too. Overall perfect for your quick weeday breakie/lunch and weekend bread/pastries pick up. Recommend!
- Verginee GOur go to spot since moving to Balmain! Delicious coffee, pastries and bread. I love the fact that they take the time to prepare every coffee properly, and I don’t need to worry about getting a badly made coffee if it’s busy like at some cafes.
